Graduation Day for Tim

In April 2011 we moved to Glossop with a new life ahead of us. The exact path wasn’t entirely mapped out, we just knew that being in a beautiful part of the world and doing work we loved were the top two things on the list. Our applications to be massage therapists at the 2012 Olympic were still outstanding at that time. We did in fact receive the Olympic offers soon after moving; fast-forward to July/August 2012 and we were on a train to London for the unforgettable whirlwind adventure working with the athletic stars of the world.

Little did we know just over four years ago that the Olympics would be the catalytic and inspiring event bringing us to 13 July 2015 – for that was Graduation Day and the day Tim officially became a Chartered Physiotherapist. He was awarded a prestigious BSc in Physiotherapy with First Class Honours. To say we are proud of his achievement is an understatement.

Tim has tirelessly studied, attended lectures and work placements, spent hours upon hours researching physiotherapy all while continuing to work as a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. He’s juggled work and study alongside his passion for fell running and being a volunteer on the Glossop Mountain Rescue Team. His hard work and dedication have been justly rewarded. Education and continual learning are aspects that we both pride ourselves on, and it will come as no surprise to hear that Tim is already looking forwards to the next stage of his career.
